In another light.
A new project by Hanneke Naterop and Henk Veldhuizen.

From an earlier collaboration in which Hanneke and Henk responded to each other’s work, currently there’s an exhibition at Shell ETCA in Amsterdam. It has been a wonderful and inspiring collaboration that has led us to new ideas.

For this new project, we draw inspiration from the work of Erwin Olaf. What do these images say to us, and how can we translate that into new work? Painting and photography.

In consultation with the Erwin Olaf Foundation, it was decided that we cannot show the original photographs
.
This, however, gives the viewer complete freedom to experience our work in their own way and to interpret it for themselves. It also offers an opportunity to take the time to revisit and truly appreciate Erwin Olaf’s remarkable work.
